Terms and Conditions for Tree Space
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Tree Space log cabin, located under giant beech trees near Haslemere. By booking and staying at Tree Space, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Booking and Payments
1.1 Reservation Confirmation: All bookings are subject to availability and confirmed only upon receipt of full payment or a deposit, as specified at the time of booking.
1.2 Payment Terms: Full payment must be made prior to the stay, unless otherwise agreed. Failure to make payment by the specified date may result in cancellation of the booking.
1.3 Booking Modifications: Requests for changes to your booking (dates, number of guests, etc.) must be made at least 14 days in advance. We will attempt to accommodate changes, but they cannot be guaranteed.
2. Cancellation Policy
2.1 Guest Cancellation:

Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the check-in date will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made between 14 to 30 days before check-in will receive a 50% refund.

Cancellations made less than 14 days before check-in are non-refundable.
2.2 Cancellation by Tree Space: In the unlikely event that Tree Space needs to cancel your booking (due to unforeseen circumstances such as severe weather or maintenance issues), you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
3. Check-In and Check-Out
3.1 Check-In: Guests may check in from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival. Early check-in requests may be accommodated if possible but cannot be guaranteed.
3.2 Check-Out: Check-out is required by 12:00 PM on the day of departure. Late check-out must be agreed upon in advance and may incur additional charges.
4. Guest Responsibilities
4.1 Occupancy: The maximum number of guests allowed to stay at Tree Space is as specified at the time of booking. Exceeding this number without prior permission may result in additional charges or cancellation of the booking.
4.2 Conduct and Use: Tree Space is a peaceful retreat. We ask that all guests respect the tranquillity of the area and avoid any disruptive behaviour. Guests must take care of the property and report any damage immediately.
4.3 No Smoking Policy: Tree Space is a non-smoking property. Smoking is not permitted inside the cabin. Guests may smoke outside but must dispose of cigarette butts responsibly.
4.4 Pets: Pets are permitted with their own blankets and bedding. They are not allowed on the furniture or in the bed.
5. Liability and Damages
5.1 Guest Responsibility for Damages: Guests are responsible for any damage caused to Tree Space during their stay, including damage to the cabin, furniture, or surrounding environment. Tree Space reserves the right to charge for any repairs or replacements required.
5.2 Personal Injury and Property: Tree Space is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property during your stay. Guests are responsible for their own safety and security while on the premises, especially when exploring the surrounding natural areas.
6. Health and Safety
6.1 Nature and Outdoor Activities: The cabin is located in a rural area with direct access to Hindhead Common, the Devil's Punchbowl, and other outdoor spaces. Guests should take necessary precautions when walking, cycling, or engaging in any outdoor activities.
6.2 Wildlife: Due to the natural surroundings, guests may encounter wildlife. Please observe animals from a distance and do not feed them.
6.3 Please be aware that there are three flights of stairs and uneven ground to access Tree Space. IN keeping with the natural feel there is no railing around the deck.
7. Use of Facilities
7.1 Cabin Facilities: Guests have full access to the cabin and its amenities, including the kitchen, bathroom, and outdoor areas. Please use the facilities responsibly and ensure they are left clean and in good condition.
7.2 Personalised Sessions: If you have booked a retreat involving biodynamic work or personalised sessions with Nicola or another practitioner, please note that these services are optional. You are responsible for informing the practitioner of any health concerns or limitations that might affect your participation.
8. Respecting the Environment
8.1 Low Impact Policy: Tree Space is committed to a low environmental impact. Guests are encouraged to minimise waste, conserve water, and recycle where possible.
8.2 Litter: Guests must not litter in or around Tree Space. All rubbish should be disposed of in the designated bins.
9. Privacy and Data
9.1 Guest Information: Any personal data provided during the booking process is confidential and will only be used for the purposes of managing your stay and communications with Tree Space. We do not share personal data with third parties.
10. Force Majeure
10.1 Tree Space is not liable for any failure to perform its obligations under these terms due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of nature, strikes, power outages, or other extraordinary events.
11. Governing Law
11.1 These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from your stay will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
